MY STYLE!!!

I absolutely love clothes, shoes, bags and accessories! I bet you're thinking, duh...which girl doesn't?! Fair enough! There's a world of difference between the ability to buy these items and actually being able to put them together! That's where my blog comes in, I love to put these items together, using colours, textures and patterns to create masterpieces. I do not believe that the cost of an item determines the success of it's appearance. My opinion is that it REALLY is the WAY in which you put it together, so check out how I do it, there's no harm in looking...whatever your opinion I'll be thoroughly enjoying myself putting each piece together.

FLOWER POWER.

1. STRAPLESS FLORAL DRESS

Floral patterns are great for creating fun, feminine, whimsical looks. I would recommend some caution with floral patterns though, because whilst they certainly can work together with other patterns, making that happen in an aesthetically pleasing fashion can be tricky.

2. DENIM JACKET

A "must-have" piece of outerwear in my wardrobe. There are endless variations of denim jackets out there. This particular one from Express resembles a biker jacket with a button at the neck and zips at the wrist area making it easy to unzip and fold up the sleeveless if one wanted to.

3. PASHMINA

I purchased this particular one, along with a baby blue one in Cape Town, South Africa.  The history behind how this extremely useful accessory came about is quite interesting, have a read: About the Pashmina

4. BLACK STOCKINGS

Ideally I would not have included these with this outfit, however my fashion sense constitutes common sense and it was COLD outside :)

5. WEDGES

I received this pair of bright yellow wedges as a gift at some point. The colour makes them great for summer and they're comfy too.

6. WHIMSICAL EARRINGS

These earrings remind me of the book, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Shakespeare. One half expects that a fairy will fly from them whilst they're on your ears.
7. GOLD PURSE

Another thrift store acquisition. This purse is predominately made of sisal, a natural fiber made from agave plants. A bonus for the environment!

This is the complete Flower Power creation:
